Frequently Asked Questions

IsleLink is a feature-rich Isle Evrima server with a companion app that adds proximity voice chat, a map overlay, custom dino skins, dino storage, and more. Download the companion app to access all features while playing on our server.

There are two ways to earn points:

1. Playing on the server: You earn 30 points every 15 minutes while connected to the IsleLink server.

2. Watching theOneJ's stream: Visit the Streamers page and watch theOneJ while he's live and playing The Isle. You earn 20 points every 5 minutes.

Watch a partnered streamer for a total of 10 hours (tracked by the server). Once you reach 10 hours, their exclusive skin is unlocked in the Skin Store for you to redeem. Progress is shown in purple below the streamer's name on the Streamers page.

Streamer Drop Points (💎) are a separate currency earned by continuing to watch partnered streamers after you've already unlocked their exclusive skin.

How to earn: Once you've watched 10 hours and unlocked a streamer's skin, any additional watch time on that streamer earns you Drop Points at a rate of 20 points per 5 minutes.

What they're for: Drop Points are used to redeem skins from the Streamer Drops tab in the Skin Store. These are special skins that cost 10,000 Drop Points each.

Where to check: Your Drop Points balance is shown in your profile dropdown (💎) at the top of any page, and on the Streamer Drops tab in the store.

Once you own a skin, open the IsleLink companion app, go to the Skins tab, select the skin you want, and click "Transfer Skin to Dino." Your dino's appearance will change in-game instantly.

The companion app includes built-in proximity voice chat. Players near you in-game can hear you speak, with volume fading based on distance. It uses push-to-talk by default. Configure your PTT key in the app's Settings tab.

Dino storage lets you save your current dino (growth, stats, mutations, skin) to a slot and load it back later. This means you can switch between dinos without losing progress. Access it from the Dino Storage tab in the companion app.

Search for [US] ISLELINK.GG - VOICE CHAT - PVP in The Isle's server browser and click Join. The server supports up to 200 players.

Yes — being connected to the IsleLink companion app is required to play on the server. Along with granting access to proximity voice chat, the map overlay, skins, dino storage, and point earning, staying connected to IsleLink is a requirement while you're on the server. It's free to download.

Visit the Skin Viewer Ban Appeals page, log in with Steam, and submit your appeal. An admin will review it and respond through Discord.
